Parra Trooper is a new and innovative product we have applied to our Giant Parramatta Grass outbreaks.

After 2 years of significantly trialling the product Parra Trooper on our property, we have come to the disappointed conclusion that this product has been a dismal failure in our environment. Consequently, we cannot recommend its use in similar locations.

It arrives as a solid mass of substate black spores and white hyphae which is a concentrated source of Nigrospora oryzae spores and hyphae.

To start the preparation process of separating the spores and hyphae from the substate, we had to mix and vigorously agitate the product in untreated water several times.

Then straining the mixture through a filter system into a spray tank filled with 200 litres of clean water.

We then applied the mixture by spot spraying during damp weather conditions.
